BLOG - Ijusi Magazine

Mid-2012 sees the launch of ijusi issue #27, “The Long Playing Album Cover Issue”; a look back in ‘musical-time’ to the glory that was the 33rpm LP cover. The response from designers countrywide was incredible, especially since a number of art schools were invited to submit entries as well. Due to the prohibitive cost of self-funding this print run (300 copies only, 310 x 310mm, Full colour), the most economical page count was 16, making room for 14 submissions (excluding the cover and Editorial). To ensure the Ijusi spirit is maintained, and to have a range of styles and themes, the final selection for print is as follows:

The issue is currently at print and will be available towards the end of July 2012. The brief for issue #28 will be posted on this site in due course.
